CalcOS

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 25, 2026

At ogcalculatoros.com ("CalcOS"), we respect your privacy and are committed to safeguarding any information collected through your use of our calculations.

1. Calculator Data

CalcOS does not require registration or an account. Calculations run in your browser, and CalcOS does not send calculator inputs, expressions, or calculated results to Google Analytics. CalcOS does not operate a server database containing your financial values, dates, health measurements, or other calculator inputs.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

Some features save information locally in your browser so they work across visits. This can include your theme, recently used calculator identifiers, online-ruler calibration and display preferences, scientific-calculator history, privacy choice, and temporary measurement-deduplication records. Scientific-calculator history can contain expressions and results that you chose to calculate, but the audited CalcOS analytics path does not transmit that history.

You can remove this local information using the relevant in-product clear control where one is available or by clearing site data for ogcalculatoros.com in your browser. Removing local information may reset preferences, calibration, history, and privacy choices.

3. Analytics

CalcOS uses Google Analytics 4 with region-aware Google Consent Mode. In the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, optional analytics storage starts denied and Google's certified consent message records your choice. In regions where that entry message does not apply, privacy-minimized analytics may operate without a first-visit interruption. When analytics storage is denied, Google Analytics is limited to denied-state, cookieless measurement behavior. Cloudflare provides essential website delivery, security, and aggregate network-performance services independently.

We never send calculator inputs or calculated results to analytics. Approved product events use limited labels such as calculator name, category, interaction type, broad duration band, and result-action type. CalcOS does not create a custom user ID. Google Analytics may process the page visited, device/browser information, approximate location, and the approved events under Google's service terms.

Google's consent system may store your applicable consent or privacy choice. A temporary sessionStorage record named calcos_measurement_window_v1prevents duplicate calculator starts and completions; it contains calculator identifiers and timestamps, not inputs or results. Where the Google message applies, you can use the "Privacy and cookie settings" link to review or withdraw your choice.

4. Contact Messages

If the contact-form service is configured and you submit the form, the name, email address, subject, and message you provide are sent to Formspree for delivery to CalcOS. If that service is not configured, the form opens your email application instead and your email provider handles the message. Contact information is not treated as calculator analytics and should not be entered into calculator fields.

5. Error Reporting

CalcOS does not currently operate an active third-party automatic error-reporting service. An error identifier may be displayed on an error page to help with troubleshooting, but calculator inputs and results are not intentionally included in the governed analytics event contract.

6. Advertising

CalcOS is connected to Google AdSense for site review and Google's certified privacy messaging, but does not currently display third-party advertising. The advertising provider, placements, and global advertising switch remain disabled. If advertising is activated later, CalcOS will update this policy and complete the separate consent, policy, performance, and owner-release gates first.

7. Third-Party Links

Our calculators may recommend related tools or resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or safety of external links.
